iParcelBox is a smart parcel delivery box

Do you enjoy shopping online, but hate it when you get home to find a ‘sorry we missed you’ card through your letterbox?

Approximately 40% of deliveries in the UK are the size of a shoebox and therefore unable to fit through a standard letterbox, with around 12% of e-commerce deliveries in the UK arriving when the customer is not at home. According to a recent research report, more than half of retail sales will take place online in less than 10 years’ time.

iParcelBox is a smart parcel delivery box with patent pending technology that allows you to receive multiple secure deliveries when you are not at home.

iParcelBox takes away the stress and inconvenience of missed deliveries, providing a smart, secure, and weatherproof parcel delivery solution you monitor and control from your smartphone.

Invented by Harrow resident Paul Needler, iParcelBox came 2^nd place in the 2019 Harrow Business Den competition run by Harrow Council.

iParcelBox is SIMPLE: Delivery drivers simply press a button, wait for iParcelBox to unlock, place the parcel inside and close the lid, which locks. There are no codes to enter, locks to manipulate or special apps required to make deliveries.

iParcelBox is SMART: You can monitor and control your iParcelBox from your Smartphone. iParcelBox automatically allows a delivery when it’s empty, and will send you a notification and let you remotely allow subsequent deliveries.

iParcelBox is SECURE: it is made of steel and is securely anchored to a floor or wall using the provided bolts. The locked compartment stores your parcels safely until you return home to retrieve them.  If your parcel needs to be ‘signed for’, then the delivery driver can scan the unique bar code inside the lid of the iParcelBox as proof of delivery.
